Girls Hack IT – is an exciting program designed for middle and high school girls eager to explore the world of coding and technology. This program offers a unique opportunity to learn how to develop and deploy real-world solutions in a fun, supportive, and upbeat environment. Through a hybrid model, students gain hands-on experience and receive online mentorship, which plays a crucial role in preparing them for the competition. Girls will not only build their tech skills but also develop confidence and teamwork, setting them up for success in their tech future.

The West Michigan GET-IT Connection Summit invites high school girls to explore the exciting world of technology. Students will discover innovations, uncover career paths, and explore education opportunities that can shape their future. 

Registration Open for U of M Dearborn Program Until October 20, 2025

MCWT’s partnership with the Girl Scouts provides a one-day opportunity with hands-on activities to earn technology badges. MCWT volunteers help lead the activities and serve as speakers for the parents’ program.  

The MCWT Foundation will provide coding tools and experiences that are interactive, empowering, and fun because GIRLS DO ROCK IT!

MCWT’s partnership with the Girl Scouts provides a one-day opportunity with hands-on activities for girls to earn cybersecurity technology badges. Our volunteers help lead activities for the girls and serve as speakers for the parent session. MCWT will provide tech tools and experiences that are interactive, empowering, and fun because GIRLS DO ROCK IT!

2026 program details are coming soon

A day for girls in grades 4 – 8 to explore facets of computer science, interact with sponsors, participate in a live Tech Expo, and learn how IT is used in companies across Michigan.

November 11, 2025 summit details are now available

The GET-IT Connection Summit is a special event designed for high school girls, offering them a unique chance to discover the exciting world of technology. At the summit, students will learn about innovative tech advancements, explore potential career paths in technology, and discover various education options for their future.
