Thursday, October 29,2026: from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Inviting High School Girls to Join the GET-IT Connection Summit at Wayne County Community College District – Ted Scott Campus
Step into the world of technology for an exciting day of hands-on learning, career exploration, mentorship, and inspiration. Students will meet accomplished women in technology, explore emerging technologies, and discover how their creativity and skills can help solve real-world problems and shape what comes next.
This year’s theme, Future Makers: Build What’s Next – Create, Innovate, Make an Impact, encourages students to see technology not simply as something they use, but as something they can create, design, and use to make a difference.
- Create: Turn ideas into possibilities through hands-on technology experiences that encourage imagination, curiosity, and problem-solving.
- Innovate: Explore emerging technologies and discover how technology professionals are developing new solutions to real-world challenges.
- Make an Impact: Discover how technology can improve lives, strengthen communities, and create meaningful change.
Whether students already dream of a career in technology or are just beginning to explore what is possible, the GET-IT Connection Summit provides a welcoming environment to create, innovate, connect, and imagine what comes next.
