Website Content Editor (WordPress)

Tech Support Role

Key Responsibilities 

  • Update website content (text, images, links, and files) in WordPress. 
  • Post news updates, blog articles, and announcements. 
  • Add or edit event information and resources. 
  • Ensure content formatting is consistent and visually appealing. 
  • Check for broken links, outdated materials, and accessibility compliance. 
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure website content aligns with organizational messaging. 
  • Suggest small improvements to layout or usability (optional, based on skills). 

Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with WordPress (version 6.0 or above, preferably 6.8.2). 
  • Basic knowledge of website content management, text editing, and image resizing. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand/style guidelines. 
  • Strong written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines. 

Preferred (but not required): 

  • Experience with SEO basics, accessibility standards, or website analytics. 
  • Graphic design or photo editing skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, GIMP).
