Stacey Folsom

Stacey Folsom is the IT Manager of Collaboration & Communication Services at Consumers Energy, where she leads a team responsible for the company’s Microsoft 365 platform and services, including Copilot, along with telephony, audio visual, and telecom expense management. She is passionate about helping people embrace technology, build new skills, and realize the value of digital transformation. 

A long-time supporter of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, Stacey has participated in several MCWT professional development programs while at Consumers Energy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she completed the 26-week Front-End Coding Bootcamp and is also a graduate of the Leadership Clinic. She has served as a mentor to a student scholarship recipient, remains actively involved as a member of the Jackson Planning Team, and joined the Advisory Board in 2026. 

Stacey is passionate about lifelong learning, mentorship, and creating opportunities for women to thrive in technology careers. Through her service on the MCWT Advisory Board, she hopes to help expand access to technology education, strengthen professional networks, and inspire the next generation of women leaders in STEM. 

Stacey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Imaging from Northern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
