I am Shrutthi Raghuprakash, a dedicated Healthcare IT Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM), where I have spent over 15 years advancing technology strategy, digital transformation, and operational excellence in one of the nation’s leading health insurance organizations. My career at BCBSM has progressed through progressively senior leadership roles, including Senior Project Manager, Senior Information Technology Manager, and now Director, where I lead AI/IT strategy, enterprise program management, business intelligence, and servicing operations initiatives.
In these capacities, I drive large-scale innovation and efficiency in healthcare technology solutions—delivering transformative projects that enhance member experiences, optimize processes, prioritize people-centered approaches over pure tech, and integrate emerging technologies like AI to solve complex business challenges. My work focuses on strategic problem-solving, fostering cross-functional collaboration, ensuring program delivery with rigor and candor, and building high-performing teams that align technology with organizational goals in a highly regulated industry. Certified in ITMLE (IT Management & Leadership Executive) and deeply experienced in healthcare IT, I am committed to driving measurable impact, from bold visions to consistent execution in daily operations.
Beyond my core role at BCBSM, I host the Key2U Podcast, where I occasionally explore themes of authentic leadership, resilience, and personal growth through inspiring conversations—values that inform and strengthen my professional approach.
I am passionate about contributing to the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) Advisory Board. MCWT’s mission to inspire, engage, and empower girls and women to thrive in Michigan’s tech ecosystem strongly aligns with my own journey in healthcare IT leadership and my dedication to inclusion, mentorship, and building diverse talent pipelines. I am eager to bring my strategic insights from 15+ years at BCBSM, proven track record in innovation and program leadership, and commitment to human-centered technology to support MCWT’s efforts in advancing the next generation of women in tech across our state.
