Malti George is Vice President, Global IT at Stryker Corporation, a leader in the medical technology industry. Stryker manufactures and markets cutting edge orthopedic, neurovascular, endoscopic surgical products and medical equipment in over 100 countries. Malti leads the Global Application Development and ERP Transformation organization across all divisions of Stryker worldwide. Malti has extensive experience in a wide range of IT functions. She spent first part of her career in IT consulting and then transitioned to performing diverse IT roles within large corporations.

Prior to joining Stryker, Malti led a wide range of IT functions within the Global Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics, Application development, IT Infrastructure, Program Management and IT Operations at General Motors. At GM, Malti was also selected to lead the pre and post-bankruptcy planning and reorganization activities that centered on supplier contracts, Shadow IT, carve out/integration, Data Center transformation and PMO.

Malti began her career as a Programmer with Tata Consulting Services and progressed through roles of Systems Analyst, Technical Lead and Technical Director at PwC and Atos. During this time she provided IT services to banking, financial services, government, retail and automotive sectors.

Malti led the Partnership and Events committee at Michigan Council for Women in Technology and is currently on the Advisory Council. She served as Board of Director and Chair of IT Committee at Matrix Human Services and was on the Academic Advisory Council at Lawrence Tech University. Malti regularly volunteers at local community organizations and teaches yoga in her spare time.

Malti has BS and MS degrees in Finance & Computer Applications from University of Mumbai, MS in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and MBA from Michigan State University.
