Angela Wilburn

Angela has over 15 years of experience in technology, beginning in support roles and
progressing to leading teams in data analytics and emerging technologies. This journey has
given her a solid understanding of the tech world from the ground up.

Angela joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 2016 and now leads two key teams:
Data Analytics, which uncovers technological insights, and Gen AI Enablement, which
drives secure AI and automation. Her leadership earned her a 2026 nomination for the
BCBSM President’s Award, the organization’s top honor.

Angela earned her B.S. in Information Technology with a concentration in Data Analytics
from Walsh College. In 2026, she began representing Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan on
the Advisory Board of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology. She is dedicated to
supporting and empowering this and the next generation of women pursuing careers in
technology.
