Kraft Meadows students snag first place in 2018 Girls Solve IT state competition
A team of five sixth-grade girls from Kraft Meadows Middle School were recently awarded first place in the 2018 Girls Solve IT statewide competition, an event that challenges students in the areas of programming, creativity and problem solving.
The competition, which is sponsored by the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, required teams in fifth through eighth grade to complete a series of four quests over the course of nine weeks.
