Wherever you find yourself in the MCWT journey, we’re here to support you with an exciting lineup of tech opportunities to keep you engaged and empowered this fall and winter!

 GET ENGAGED

 GIVE BACK TO MCWT’S MISSION

 EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT

Tech Weeks: To kick off Michigan’s tech week festivities, MCWT will be at various events throughout the month, and we’re hosting our own.

As we move into a new season, we encourage everyone to stay engaged, amplify your voices in support of women in tech, and empower others to join the mission. Thank you for being a vital part of the MCWT community.

Warm wishes,

College Women and Tech Professionals in Tech are Invited to Meet
MCWT at Michigan State University Next Month!

Friday, Oct. 11, and Saturday, Oct. 12
The Kellogg Center – 219 S. Harrison Road, East Lansing MI, 48824

In 2022, women earned only 21% of computer science degrees in the U.S., a stark contrast to the 37% in 1985. It’s clear that the tech industry needs more women, and MICWIC 2024 is committed to making a difference here in Michigan.

MICWIC 2024 is more than just a conference—it’s a movement designed to empower women in technology through meaningful networking, mentorship opportunities, and educational workshops. Whether you’re beginning your tech journey or looking to take your career to the next level, MICWIC provides the tools and connections to help you succeed.

Conference Theme: New Beginnings

Explore the 4 Reason Why MICWIC Matters

This two-day experience will include a career fair for students to land their next internships and create new connections with their future employers, panel discussions from women on how they’re succeeding in Michigan’s tech industry, and opportunities to make lifelong connections that will help inspire and grow your journey in tech.

We invite everyone from across the state to join us next month and forge the way for the next generation of women in tech to create an innovative new beginning.

MCWT is still accepting sponsorship and companies to participate in the career fair. If you are interested in becoming involved, download this conference catalog and contact Katina Cloutier at katina.cloutier@mcwt.org
