Carey Pachla, President and CEO

In 2003, Carey Pachla joined Fast Switch, Ltd.; essentially, a start-up, at the time. Over 16 years, she built the division she started into a best in class and purpose-driven organization with hundreds of team members servicing multiple organizations, which range in size from Fortune Top 10 to mid-size and start-up organizations.
At the beginning of 2020, Carey Pachla purchased the Fast Switch division she oversaw, from infancy, to form Fast Switch – Great Lakes. In October of 2020 Fast Switch – Great Lakes assumed the name of FastTek Global and launched a new region based in Atlanta covering the SE of the U.S.
FastTek Global provides IT and engineering resource and staffing solutions, executive search expertise, contract-to-hire programs, consulting services, managed services and off-shore sourcing options.

Pachla earned her BBA degree from Western Michigan University and her MBA from Wayne State University.
As an active member of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) for 17 years, Pachla is committed to introducing girls to tech careers, providing scholarship opportunities to young women and increasing career development for women in Tech. In 2017, she served on the MCWT board of directors as president and now sits on advisory board. She also serves as a member of GreenPath’s board of trustees and a member of Wayne State University’s ISM advisory board. Additionally, Pachla and Fast Switch – Great Lakes support numerous IT intern programs, such as their partnership with Focus:HOPE which is building a strategic community outreach program.
Pachla lives in metro Detroit with her husband, Marc and two daughters, Madeline and Josie.
In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, sailing, hiking and travel.
