Paula Stolar

Paula Stolar is currently Vice President, Senior Director of IT Shared Services at Flagstar. In this role she is responsible for adding business value and enabling technology for several Shared Services functions.

Prior to this role, Paula spent over 15 years at Ally most recently as a Technology Senior Director responsible for multiple corporate functions at Ally. She also started the Ally Women in Technology group. In addition to the finance industry, Paula has held various technology leadership roles in the staffing and homebuilding industries.

Her passion for MCWT started in 2006 when she was invited to a networking session where she enjoyed connecting with a group of likeminded women with careers in tech. Paula’s MCWT involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors, managing the SE Michigan Golf Classic, mentoring scholars, supporting Camp Infinity, judging the Website Design Competition, and much more.

Paula earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Michigan Technological University where she currently serves on the College of Computing External Advisory Board. She lives in Shelby Twp., Michigan with her husband and dog. In her free time Paula enjoys golf and spending time with family & friends.
