Judy Asher

Judy Asher, as an experienced technology leader across a wide variety of roles within global, complex, large-scale enterprises, Judy brought a wealth of experience and expertise to her recently ended role as MCWT President. Judy currently serves as Principal Architect at McKesson, where she aligns application platforms with strategic company goals. She joined the healthcare services leader in mid-2025 after working as Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture at Baxter since 2021. Prior to her healthcare career, Judy had a successful tenure at Ford Motor Company.

Engagement with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology has been constant since Judy’s introduction to the organization, as she has demonstrated her passion for empowering Women in Technology. She’s engaged through Mentoring, Membership, Lunch and Learns, Camps, Robotics Grants and GET-IT clubs. Leadership activities include the inaugural Executive Connection Summit, Mission Director for University programs including Scholarship and Internship for over 5 years, and most recently, co-lead for the Advisory Board. “I am thrilled to be able to continue my support of the MCWT mission through the Presidency and helping pave the way for the next generation of female leaders in tech.”

Judy’s leadership in the technology community has been recognized over the last decade including being named a Technology All-Star by Women of Color in 2021 and awarded the “Women of the Year in Technology” in 2018 by Michigan Council of Women in Technology. She was recognized twice by Crain’s Detroit in 2019 as a “Notable Women in STEM” and in 2016 as one of “50 Names to Know in Information Technology”. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computational mathematics from Michigan State University (Go Green) and an MBA from the University of Michigan (Go Blue).
